A construction worker came into a local store chain and found this litter of kittens on the east side of town. He took one home, and we brought home the rest and placed them in foster care.
A shipping clerk from the same previous store chain found this little guy under all the pallets. The kitten was unable to see due to an awful eye infection. We included him with the litter we brought home the week before to be bottle fed.
Leo was found in the breezeway of a local grocery store, escaping the cold. We kept her until June when we found her the right home.
We were driving along East US 50 when we saw a kitten on the side of the road, no possible homes nearby. She was about six weeks old, our guess was that she had been tossed out a car window.
This handsome kitten was found wandering around the drive-thru of a local chain restaurant.
We trapped two feral 9 month-old kittens at a nearby abandoned building on the north side of town. We noticed other feral cats in the area as well.
This is Lucy! She was trapped with three other cats at the same time behind a local shopping center.
Eleanor was found at an abandoned building on the north side of town where we had found two others, Syrus and Zane. We believe them all to be from the same litter.
We trapped this sweet male on the east side of town. He has since made his home as a barn cat.
We had this litter of seven kittens dropped off to us. They were six weeks old. How could we say no? Look at those faces.
We were able to trap Jade on the east side of town and get her fixed!
We trapped this female on the east side of town as well, and before we could get her spayed, we discovered she was pregnant. She had five kittens on May 8th.
We trapped this handsome feral boy from our neighborhood. He had an injured foot that was so infected, we weren't sure if it would have to be amputated, but fortunately he was able to keep it. We released him on August 2nd after having him neutered and making sure his foot was good to go.
August 16, 2021 - We found Arlo in a horrible, emaciated state on the east side of town. We were able to get him back to good health and rehome him.
We trapped Artie along with three others from the factory to be neutered. He is still working on his people skills.
Mars was the boss of the group at the factory, and even after being neutered, he still has that mentality.
Arrow is more personable that Artie is right now, but he's still working on his people skills. He loves his kitty friends though.
Juno is a beautiful, long-haired kitty who, like some of her other colony-mates, is working on her people skills.
Little Pandora had been lost without her buddy Mars, and we were happy to reunite them once she recovered from being spayed.
We suspect that Atlas may be the father of a few of the factory kitties. Some of them certainly have his sweet disposition.
January 10, 2022 - Pretty girl Harper was one of the first we trapped from the factory as well. She's a little grumpy, but she's getting better.
We took in a very sick, 3 week old kitten. He had numerous medical issues that we had him seen for, including an ulcer on his left eye that made it hard to see and an acute upper respiratory infection, and now he has made such a comeback. He never gave up on life, and he has the spunk to prove it.
Parker, his sister Nat, and their now-brother from another mother, Stark, were rescued from a busy parking lot. He's a sweet boy with a mischievous streak.
Nat was rescued with her littermate Parker and new brother Stark. She is very fast and very spunky!
After being rescued from the parking lot, Stark got right along with his new siblings. He is still shy around people, but he's warming up to his new humans.
These three kittens were rescued from the same busy parking lot as the three before, and we suspect Bruce is Stark's sibling, where Archie and Venus are Parker and Nat's siblings. Bruce is a work-in-progress when it comes to people, but Archie and Venus make friends with whoever they meet.
Bennie was brought to us in rough shape: an upper respiratory infection, very thin, and all-around not in great health. After a week of rest and antibiotics, he's is loving life and people too.
